Anyone with children will know being a parent fundamentally changes your priorities and needs regarding a juggling convention. We intend to ensure that families with small children will also be able to enjoy the EJC 2011 to the full. We intend to provide child- and family-friendly facilities.
The site will include a camping area specifically for families. It will be a fairly short distance from the festival site. We request that you remain quiet in this area during the evenings to allow small children to sleep undisturbed.
Badges especially for children are available at the InfoPoint. These can be used to label a child with his or her name and parent's cellphone number. If the child gets lost, this enables staff and volunteers to be help very quickly. These badges are not tickets.
The volunteer organisation "d'Münchner Flohhupferl e.V." www.die-flohhupferl.de will provide creche services for children aged between three and eight. Parents can leave their children in safe hands for up to two hours. They will have to provide a cellphone number and sign an exclusion of liability. Creche services are available on a first come first served basis since the number of children that can be cared for is limited.
The creche is available from Monday, 8th August to Saturday, 13th August 10am - 12 noon and 3pm - 5pm
During the day, when the creche is closed, the creche tent can be used by families as a meeting point.
