The European Juggling Convention
Each year since 1978 an international gathering of jugglers has been held in Europe. Athens, Turin, Copenhagen, Brussels, Rotterdam, Gothenburg, Edinburgh, Leeds, Grenoble, Lille, Karlsruhe and other cities have played host to these extraordinary gatherings in the past. Spain was the host in 2009. In 2010 it is Finland.
From the 20 jugglers that first attended, the number of participants in what has become the world's largest event of its kind, has grown to up to 5000.

In the traditional parade through the city by all participants, on open stages that take place each evening, as well as in a public show at Circus Krone, the convention's grand finale, it will be possible to watch amateurs, professionals and the best jugglers in the world.
The outstanding aspect of this huge spectacle is that it is a non-profit event rather than one aimed at maximising income.
